The Heritage Wardrobe Company provides a completely bespoke service, which includes hand painting the wardrobes in any desired colourway. Whilst most clients tend to choose a lighter shade, such as white, cream or grey, the choices are truly endless. Neutral colours are usually favoured due to the classic and sophisticated look it evokes, most commonly colours such as Farrow & Ball’s Cornforth White; however if you want to brighten up a space, bolder colours, such as navy or pink, also work well. For a darker scheme that will remain neutral and blend in with any interior scheme, Farrow & Ball’s Mole’s Breath is also a popular choice.

One of the hottest colour trends for 2019 is also one of the most versatile – beige. Once a shade seen as boring and uninspiring, it has been given a contemporary overhaul. This beige hue is a warm, chocolate-brown type of beige, with hints of grey. It can feel warmer with hints of red, or cooler with hints of green, making it a timelessly popular option. The colour complements any room of the house and works particularly well when paired with brass, black and grey.
